Satisfaction Level on the Usage of Rice Crop Manager Through Time, Cost and Visit Analysis

Various implemented technologies have been associated with satisfaction level leading to public rejection of their use. Indeed, understanding of these factors that affect every technological advancement is much noteworthy for a study. The core concern of this study is to evaluate the required TCV (Time, Cost and Visit) of the newly implemented project of the Department of Agriculture entitled, “Rice Crop Manager: An Online Fertilizer Recommendation” and to evaluate the farmers’ satisfaction level. The study made use a descriptive research design and utilized a survey questionnaire. An interview method of collecting the data was conducted among the 102 farmers who participated in the long seasonal field study on rice farming. Based on the analyzed data and gathered report, the new service has made less expensive, easy and quick access to the farmers. The study also discloses farmers’ perception as satisfied regarding the service time, cost and visit to facility provider beneficiaries. Therefore, the Rice Crop Manager as the newly introduced project reduced effectively the time and cost spend by the farmers and showed a changing scenario about the traditional fertilizer recommendation services. Further, the study suggested on the development of the internet server and providing easy access to internet that could help farmers to get online recommendation more flexible.
